The CRUSH program is aimed at young people with a disability to support them to get a good understanding of
- safe, respectful relationships
- safe sex and sexual health
- a working knowledge of consent
- online safety
- personal boundaries
The material is delivered within a framework that promotes and protects their human rights.
This program seeks to empower people with a disability to make informed decisions about their sexuality and relationships, while providing knowledge about relationships and strategies to keep them safe and support them to develop safe behaviours.
Every individual is different and requires support in different areas and through various delivery methods and so each program is designed with the individual in mind, and supports their particular needs.
Crush is facilitated on a one-to-one basis at Able2 with a trained counsellor.
