The Counselling team at Able2 can provide support to children, young people and adults for many of life’s challenges, including:

EMMA DONLEVY
Clinical Lead Counselling
With over 10 year’s experience in supporting children, young people and adults with diverse and complex needs, including trauma, Emma works creatively with individuals to listen, understand and support them. Emma is skilled and able to integrate a range of evidence-based counselling modalities that result in the best fit for the person’s needs.
Emma is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association.

Fiona Burrows
Counsellor
Fiona’s mission as a counsellor is to support and empower clients to understand and express their emotions, overcome difficult life situations and challenges. She works from a client centred, strength-based approach to assist clients to create meaningful change in their lives.
Fiona has extensive experience in working with clients with a range of disabilities and complex communication needs. She is skilled in adapting her style to meet clients’ communication and emotional needs and to create a safe space to build a strong therapeutic relationship.
Fiona has a Masters of Counselling and is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association.

KRISTY SOUTHERS
Counsellor
Kristy’s warmth helps to provide a genuine connection with individuals and hold a safe space for them to develop their self-awareness, inner skills and knowledge, so that their unique qualities and capabilities can shine. Kristy has deep compassion for struggle and pain. Working from a person-centred approach, and drawing on other therapeutic modalities, she aims to support a person’s individual needs.
Kristy is trained and experienced in coaching, counselling and positive psychology. She is registered with PACFA and is an ICF accredited coach.

Ute Eickelkamp
Sandplay Therapist
Ute is a Sandplay Practitioner within the counselling team at Able2. Ute has spent many years studying sand storytelling with Indigenous families in Central Australia and introduced Sandplay to a mental health program on the Tiwi Islands.
Ute holds a Graduate Diploma in Infant and Parent Mental Health, a PhD in social anthropology, and is training with STANZA, the Sandplay Therapy Association of New Zealand and Australia.
Our counselling services are typically provided in Able2’s offices, however online counselling can be provided via Zoom or in other places apart from the participant’s home.
